Middle school camp is for students who have just completed 6th, 7th, or 8th grade. We depart on Monday morning, May 31st and return on Friday afternoon, June 4th. The trip is approximately 5 hours (335 miles) and lunch is provided. Camp is at the Jonathan Creek Conference Center in Hardin, KY on the shores of scenic Kentucky Lake. It is secluded and secure; we have a security team and nurses available. We will be the only group on site. Housing will be lodge or motel-style with beds, bathrooms, and living space. Each full day of camp will feature Bible study, recreation, swimming, selected activities, worship, free time, and night fellowships. Price includes all activites, a t-shirt, all meals, and transportation. Our speaker is Tom Richter and Justin Teseniar will lead worship! Crossings provides staff, facilities, and programming for camp. They are part of Kentucky Baptists and have been doing camp for decades. They were our partners in 2019.
Campers will be temperature and symptom checked before they board buses and receive daily symptom checks at camp. Any experiencing symptoms will be quarantined and rapid tests will be offered with parental consent. Camp is structured to facilitate a contact trace if necessary. Masks are not required but will be available for those choosing to use them at camp.
